 Good laptop backpack but the materials changed September 5, 2010

I have bought one of this laptop backpack from Staples before and is very pleased with the quality. When I received my order from Amozon I noticed the material used in the bag is different from the one I bought before although the looks and styles is more or less the same. It is not as soft and feels not very refined. I also noitced the backpack I received is not from the Swissgear, but from one of its lisenced manufacture. It still serves my needs but due to the quality of the material used I can only give it a 3 star.

A very good bag for its purpose but beware that the ventilation holes (not computer department)on the sides are quite big and should be covered if in wet conditions (no bag cover supplied)

Very roomy & smart (for a rucksack), very comfortable to carry - even when heavy!
Lots of separate compartments to split up your stuff & plenty of room for laptop, power cable, along with documents etc etc
All that said a bit bulkier than expected - so really easy to carry along far more stuff than you need making it heavy. - But certainly would & have recommended it to others

Fortunately, I haven't experienced the water in the holes along the side as others have- haven't been caught in the rain...yet. However, after having it for a little over a month now, using it for travelling to Germany and Italy, university books and laptop, carrying groceries and carrying gym clothes, it's an awesome versatile bag. It can be a little clumsy when packed to capacity and using public transport but that problem will exist with any bag. Very comfortable even with loaded and heavy. Lots a pockets and compartments to keep things separated and organized.
You won't be disappointed!
